Thought Leadership Video Campaign - Case Study Bixby International

The Problem:
Bixby International is a long-established custom plastic extrusion company, that specializes in delivering practical solutions to the most challenging mono- and multi-layer film and sheet applications. They wanted to be seen as a thought leader in their industry and reach out to prospects and current customers to help them understand that Bixby can be the go-to company for solutions.

Our Solution
We pitched the idea to create a series of educational videos that would reach their target audience and talk to them at their level. It needed to be visually interesting and supply more information than a standard pitch, a sales tool without being a hard sell. We recruited Marc Gagnon, Vice President of R&D and Product Development to discuss the challenges involved in choosing the correct materials for manufacturing a product, as well as the physical, functional, and environmental factors in the field that can impact the long-term integrity of a laminate bond in a finished product.

Did it Work
Working with Bixby's marketing group, a specific landing page was set up to capture the activity to the video. Over a 3 month period, using email campaigns and Google Adwords to deploy the messaging, the video produced 2,052 page views, which resulted in 14 web conversions. It helped create a lot of buzz and is still being viewed today and producing conversions.
